Vincristine Sulfate Injection

Adults, children, and infants who have a certain type of cancer may receive vincristine sulfate (Vincasar PFS®). It is given as an injection into a vein (intravenously, or by IV) once a week. Your healthcare provider will administer the dose in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or clinic.
 
Vincristine is available in one strength: Vincristine 1 mg per 1 mL. It comes in 1-mL and 2-mL vials. Your individual dosage will depend on a number of factors, such as:
 
  • Your age, height, and weight
  • How you respond to and tolerate it
  • Other medications you are taking.
