Treanda® (bendamustine) is a chemotherapy medicine prescribed for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in adults. It works by damaging DNA, which prevents cancer cells from multiplying and dividing.
 
Treanda is given as a slow injection into a vein once a day for two days in a row every 21 to 28 days. Nausea, diarrhea, and low levels of blood cells are among the possible side effects.
