Sprycel Drug Interactions

Tacrolimus
Sprycel may increase blood levels of tacrolimus. This could increase your risk for tacrolimus side effects. Also, people taking Sprycel should not use tacrolimus ointment because of an increased risk for infections, skin cancer, and lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes). Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.

Trastuzumab
Combining trastuzumab with Sprycel can increase your risk for low red blood cells (which could increase your risk for anemia) and low white blood cells (which could increase your risk for infections). Your healthcare provider will monitor you more closely for these conditions if you take these medicines together.
