Sprycel Dose

If your healthcare provider prescribes Sprycel® (dasatinib), your dose will depend on various factors, such as how you respond to the drug, other medications you are taking, and other medical conditions you may have.

The recommended initial dose of Sprycel for people in the chronic phase (the earliest stage) of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is 100 mg a day. If you do not respond adequately or if you are in the later stages of this leukemia, you may need a higher dosage.

For people with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the standard initial dose of Sprycel (ALL) is 140 mg a day; this amount can be increased if needed.
