You should not take Cytoxan if you:
- Are allergic to Cytoxan, cyclophosphamide, or any inactive components used to make Cytoxan. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Have severe bone marrow depression (a decreased ability of your bone marrow to make blood cells).
There are a number of situations in which Cytoxan should not be taken, as well as several precautions and warnings people should be aware of before starting the medication.
