Leukeran® (chlorambucil) is a medication prescribed to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lymphoma. It comes as a tablet that is taken once daily on an empty stomach. Possible side effects may include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
When undergoing therapy with Leukeran, you should understand the potential risks associated with this medicine. For example, this medication may not be safe for use in people with certain allergies or those taking certain medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements. Also, people who have a history of seizures, a head injury, or other medical issues should discuss whether Leukeran is an appropriate medicine for their situation.
