Tabloid Medication Information

Tabloid® (thioguanine) is a chemotherapy drug approved for use in adults and children. It is designed to help slow down the progression of acute nonlymphocytic leukemia, more commonly called acute myeloid leukemia or acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). The medicine comes in the form of tablets that are taken once or twice daily on an empty stomach.
 
Because this chemotherapy drug is not suitable for everyone, it's important to review the safety information for this medication with your healthcare provider before starting treatment. For example, make sure your healthcare provider is aware of any other health issues you may have, such as kidney disease, liver disease, or any allergies.
