Power Lines and Leukemia
In the past, some studies suggested that there is a link between power lines and leukemia. However, results from recent studies show that there is little evidence suggesting that exposure to electromagnetic fields (radiation from power lines) is a risk factor for leukemia.
In the past, some studies suggested that exposure to electromagnetic fields could be a risk factor for leukemia. Electromagnetic fields are a type of low-energy radiation that comes from power lines and electrical appliances. However, results from recent studies show that the evidence suggesting electromagnetic fields as a possible risk factor for leukemia is weak.
