Were you looking for information about Leukemia? Luekimia is a common misspelling of leukemia.
Leukemia is a cancer of the blood or bone marrow that affects more than 30,000 people in the United States each year. People with this disease have abnormal white blood cells (which are produced by the bone marrow) that crowd out normal white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets over time. This makes it difficult for blood to do its work and may cause symptoms such as frequent infections, easy bruising or bleeding, and swollen lymph nodes.
