Fludara® (fludarabine phosphate) is a drug licensed for the treatment of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia in adults. It is available by prescription only and comes as an injection that is given into a vein (intravenously, or by IV) for 5 days in a row, every 28 days.
 
Prior to starting treatment with this chemotherapy drug, your healthcare provider will want to know if you have kidney disease, any type of infection, or an upcoming surgery. Potential side effects of Fludara include fatigue, fever, and weakness.
