Fludara 50 Mg
Adults who have a certain type of cancer may receive Fludara® (fludarabine phosphate). The brand-name version of this drug comes in one strength and form: Fludara 50-mg vials.
There are also generic versions of Fludara available, which come in the following strengths and forms:
- Fludarabine phosphate 25 mg per mL vial (liquid)
- Fludarabine phosphate 50 mg per vial (dry powder that is to be mixed with an appropriate liquid).
Your individual dosage will depend on a number of factors, such as:
- Your weight
- How you respond to and tolerate it
- Other medications you are taking.
Fludara is given as an injection into a vein (intravenously, or by IV) daily for 5 days in a row, every 28 days. Your healthcare provider will administer the dose in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or clinic.
