Were you looking for information about Cytoxan? Xytoxan is a common misspelling of Cytoxan.
Cytoxan® (cyclophosphamide) is a chemotherapy medication that is available by prescription to treat various types of cancer, including multiple myeloma, ovarian cancer, and leukemia. It is also approved to treat "minimal change" nephrotic syndrome in children when other treatments have failed. While the drug can kill both healthy and cancerous cells, it has a greater effect on cells that are multiplying rapidly (cancer cells). Cytoxan comes in two forms: a tablet that is taken by mouth and an injection given through an IV.
