CML Treatment: Blastic Phase
Treatment of CML in the blastic phase of the disease may include:
 
  • Chemotherapy using one or more drugs
  • Other drug therapy (Gleevec)
  • High-dose chemotherapy
  • Donor stem cell transplant
  • Chemotherapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.

Treatment for Relapsed CML
Treatment of CML in the relapsed phase of the cancer may include:
 
  • Donor stem cell transplant
  • Donor lymphocyte infusion
  • Biological therapy (interferon).
