Campath Dosing

When treating leukemia with Campath^® (alemtuzumab), dosing guidelines call for 30 mg a day, every other day, 3 times a week, for 12 weeks. The medication is typically started at a much lower dose (3 mg) and slowly increased to the recommended 30-mg amount. This allows the body time to adjust to the medicine and to avoid potentially dangerous side effects. Most people will reach the 30-mg dose within three to seven days of starting treatment with Campath.
