What If I Overdose on Busulfex?

An overdose with Busulfex can be quite serious and may cause extremely low blood cell counts. Seek immediate medical attention if you may have been given too much Busulfex.

How Should This Medication Be Stored?

Busulfex will normally be stored by your healthcare provider. It should be stored refrigerated. Once mixed, Busulfex must be used within 8 hours if kept at room temperature, or within 12 hours if kept refrigerated. Keep this and all other medicines out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you miss an appointment to receive your dose of Busulfex, contact your healthcare provider right away. He or she will give you further instructions.

This medicine comes in one strength and form: Busulfex 6 mg per mL solution for intravenous (IV) use.
