Recurrent Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Standard treatment of recurrent adult AML will depend on the subtype of AML and may include:

Combination chemotherapy
Biologic therapy with monoclonal antibodies
Stem cell transplantation
Arsenic trioxide therapy
Low-dose radiation therapy as palliative therapy to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life.
